SRCC is one of the leading commerce and economics college in India located in Delhi University. This college was established in the year 1926 and is one of the oldest and most renowned colleges in the country providing commerce education. This University is accredited by the University Grants Commission of India and has been accredited by the NAAC with the latest grade being an A+ grade. In 2023 NIRF rankings, it has been awarded the second position among all college in India.
The faculties of Commerce and Economics of SRCC provide Undergraduate and postgraduate programs BCom (Hons.), MCom and MBA. The undergraduate programme of study has accounting, finance, marketing , human resource management and economics as the main business courses while the postgraduate programme offers specialization. The admission for the class of 2024 will open in May 2023. For the admission to BCom and MCom duration, SRCC has its own entrance examination. The examination dates, modes of application as well as the eligibility requirements will be disclosed through the college website. For those who seek admissions to the MBA course, they will have to write CAT/XAT exams.

1. B.Com (Hons) program requires minimum 60% aggregate of marks in the Class 12 examination conducted by any recognized board. Should have dropped Maths/Accounts/ Economics and English with a pass class or better.
2. For pursuing B.A (Hons) Economics program, there is no age bar but the candidate must have minimum 60% marks in Class 12 from the recognized board and must have Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects. Should have passed English language with a minimum pass mark.
3. To get admission in B.A. (Hons) English program, the student must have an aggregate of 60% marks in Class 12 to pass out from a recognized board. Passed in English in Class XII standard with minimum pass marks in the subject and studied English during Class XII.
4. As for the B.A. (Hons) History course, one needs to have scored at least 60% in their Class 12 boards from a recognized board. Should have passed English and History/Political Science/Geography/Economics/Mathematics subjects with at least pass marks.
5. For B.A. (Hons) Journalism program, students require minimum 60% mark aggregate in the class 12 examination from any recognized board. Pass in English subject in Class 12 or equivalent examination is mandatory or pass in English as a subject in any class in a government recognized school with minimum 50% marks.
