The Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan (SKIT) known as Jaipur Institute of Technology, Jaipur is one of the well equipped institute in Rajasthan offering number of courses in various departments and streams. It has B.Tech in Computer Science and it accepts JEE Main, REAP, RPET scores in MTICA computer science and engineering department. As for the eligibility, the candidates are those who have passed the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The B.Tech Electronics and Communications department of Rayat and Bahra University offers Electronics and Communication and is accepting scores of JEE Main, REAP, and RPET and the candidate should have completed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The Information Technology department offers B.Tech in Information Technology and accepts students through JEE Main, REAP, RPET who have cleared twelfth standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for the admission. The Mechanical Engineering department provides B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering for students passed 12th standard in all India JEE Main, REAP and RPET level under B.Tech / B.E. admission for the students completed their 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects only.
The institute imparts B.Tech degree course in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Branches and other branches. It also offers MBA and MCA courses This is quick work since the University is still in its development stage. The admission for the academic year 2024 will commence in January 2024 and the respective application forms will be released. The candidates can use the online portal provided on the website or they can contact the admission committee directly. The examinations for the JEE Main 2024 are scheduled in first week of February, April, May 2024. REAP and RPET 2024 exams are likely to be in the last week of May and the first week of June in the year 2024. Counselling process normally starts in the last week of June once the entrance test results are out. The selected candidates then take time to finalize their admission formalities prior to the start of classes in the last week of July in the academic year 2024/2025.

For the offline admission procedure, the students and their parents may download the application form from the institute’s website and obtain the brochure and the form from the admission office on payment of the charges. The candidates who wish to seek admission should submit the application forms, photocopies of their qualifying test marks/marks obtained in other tests, photographs etc., before the last date prescribed for this purpose to the admission office. Another method of making payment for application fees is through a demand draft.

- To get admission in the course, candidates are mandated to pass an entrance examination set by the university. Some of the test objectives include assessing the candidate’s research skills, knowledge of the subject, and intelligence.

- Due to the limited number of seats and scholarships, one can only get admission in Ph.D. on the basis of specialization and available seats. Other than the merit in the written examination and interview, desirable can include publications in relevant field, GATE/NET etc.
