Tripura Medical College is situated in West Tripura district of the state and provides medical education and training in medicine, dentistry or the like; and nursing. MBBS course has a total of 150 seats and students need to pass the 12 th grade with at least 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and biology. Qualifying Exam accepted for MBBS: NEET-UG. Some of the MD/MS programs that are taught include the following programs; Anatomy, Biochemistry, Emergency Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, etc. For one to be enrolled for the MD/MS program, they require; an MBBS Degree with 55% in aggregate and passes of NEET-PG. Mark required for BSc nursing is 50% in PCB in class 12 exams. Diploma in nursing is with passed class 12th examinations with 40% marks in PCB.
The medical college provides paramedical and nursing diploma and degree courses like GNM or ANM course or OT technique and so on. The most important dates for the admission in 2024 is NEET UG examination May 7,2024. NEET PG Examination Schedule – NEET PG exam date – March 5, 7,2024. I want to add that the application process for most courses begins in may 2023. Some of the selection criteria considered include the qualifying exam, academic performance, entry tests, interviews, and personal statement. The process of admission includes filling the form, document verification, admission through payment and final confirmation of admission. It is advised that the selected candidates clear the admission formalities within the specified time to confirm the admission. The classes for new session also start from the first week of August each year.

- Advertisements are placed in the colleges’ newspapers and at the website of the college. Make sure to check the announcement of admission.
2. Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should have cleared Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as subjects with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) and self-experience of at least 180 days in at least 2 Children’s Hospitals or District Hospitals and/or medical institutions.
- One must have qualified the NEET entrance exam with the cut-off percentile as per the norms laid down by the government.

4. Documents Required
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing 10th and 12th Mark sheets.

- Domicile certificate (for Tripura state quota) For Tripura state quota candidates the domicile certificate can be referred from the above procedure.
- SC/ST certificate (if applicable) The SC/ST certificate is basically caste certificate if the candidate belongs to the SC/ST category.
- Other category certificates: (if applicable) Find out from the student whether he has other category certificates.

- Take the completed application form with other documents and submit it before the last date at the college office directly or by post.
