The Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC) is an autonomous college in the field of engineering located in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh. The VRSEC was set up in 1997 and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to JNTUK University. This institute has been accredited by NAAC ‘A’ grade accreditation. Accordingly, in the NIRF 2023 ranking system, this college stands in 131 among all the engineering colleges in India.
It has a vision and mission to provide undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Engineering and Technology. Some of the B.Tech degrees currently available are Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The Basic B.Tech courses require one to sit for state or national entrance examination to be offered a chance to join the institute. For admission to the session 2024-25, the important exam are EAMCET in May-2024 & JEE Mains in April 2024. Besides the merit in the entrance tests, admission in the colleges also depends on the marks secured in the 12th board.

1. It requires the candidates to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects with at least 60% of marks in aggregate.
2. Candidates seeking admission for B.Tech courses should have passed their qualifying examination and appear for entrance examinations at national or state level like JEE Main, AP-EAMCET, etc. Counseling is done based on the ranks secured in the entrance exams.
3. For admissions to M.Tech programs, applicants need to have minimum qualification of B.E/B.First of all, one must pass technical or Master’s degree in the related field of their specialization with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Students seeking admission to M.Tech course must have qualified GATE.
4. For intaking MBA program, applicant can be from any stream. Selection procedure of BCA course requires that candidates pass Common entrance tests like CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/XAT or state level test and counseling.
5. The candidates who want to appear for MCA program must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects and they should have secured at least 60% marks in the aggregate. Here, one would be expected to have passed an entrance test.
