Vivekananda College, Madurai is a private aided institution for higher education in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was founded in the year 1971 and this institution is recognized under Madurai Kamaraj University. Vivekananda College is approved by AICTE and UGC of India The college offeres MBA and MCA courses. It is affiliated with the Government of Tamil Nadu and is accredited with NAAC Grade ‘A’ (CGPA 3.15). The NIRF ranking done in 2023 was 39 for Vivekananda College in the colleges of India.
The college currently has programs that it offers to its students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in arts, science and commerce streams. All the admissions are made on the basis of the percentage of marks scored in the board examinations of Class 12th or any entrance test if conducted. The admission process for the next year is initiated in May and is applicable for the 2024 academic year. Odd Semester examinations are conducted during the end of November and December while Even Semester examination are held during the end of April and May.
