The college is situated in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu and it offers a number of engg departments like Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Civil engg etc. The basic requirement to apply in all the departments of the university is that one should have cleared the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregates. State level examinations such as HSC, CBSE or ICSE are some of the recognized qualifying exams. For Computer Science, the minimum qualification for admission is 60% in PCM and TANCET/ GATE/ JEE Main score is mandatory.
CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, and Civil Engineering are the various undergraduate engineering courses offered by the college. Students are admitted to these programs through single window counselling conducted by the Anna University where one registers stating the course they want to pursue and the college they want to join. Student through certain criteria of merit and dependability of seats are allocated. A tentative plan for the next year of admission is that applications for admission will be commenced in May 2024 through TNEA web site of Anna University, the certificates will be verified in June 2024 and tentative list of admissions will be drawn for July 2024. The student has to then physically present himself/herself to the college that he/she has been posted to as per the directed timetable, make the necessary fee payments and formally enroll for the program. It will be in the end of August or the early September 2024 when all the admission process is completed, that the classes for 1st year students will begun.

- Go to the college’s website, and scroll down to the ‘admissions’ or ‘academics’ tab. This should also contain brief information concerning BE programmes offered, qualifications required, how to apply, deadlines, etc.
- The admission process for many colleges involves you to apply and register for entrance exam such as JEE Main. Sitting for several relevant exams and making sure that you reach the cut-off marks set by the college is important.
- In case of Government / aided colleges, one may have to go through state/ national level counseling after the announcement of your entrance exam results. The private colleges may also have their own form which one has to complete before being considered for admission.
- Application generally demands photographs, 10th and 12th mark sheets, diploma/degree mark sheets, entrance test scores, domicile certificate etc. Get these documents ready in advance.
- Tuition fees is generally low for government colleges and high for private colleges along with it there is application fees also but its amount is comparatively low. Kindly note the fees and pay as per the mentioned structure.
- It is compulsory to ensure that all registration deadlines as well as those for other application submissions, document verifications etc are strictly followed Because applications that are submitted late may not be accepted.
