The Advanced Diploma of Business Management (ADBM) is a 1 year diploma course that is focused on enhancing the practical skills useful for business management. The curriculum of ADBM caters to various aspects of business management with subjects such as accounting, marketing, human resources, operations, and general management. Students will be developed to suit leadership positions in small to large scale enterprises.
The ADBM Program eligibility criteria is 10+2 passed or equivalent from any stream. Such institutes call students who are in Grade 11 to come over and complete their Grade 12 through correspondence with the acceptance of ADBM admission. Appraisal of Knowledge is mainly based on examination which is also known as test and playing of projects/assignments with marks.

1. Education Board - Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board of education.
2. Work history - The course is intended for people with no work experience to apply. Institutions may consider ‘experience’ as a preference for some.
3. The Age shouldn’t be a basis for following this path because there is no age limit specified. Candidates with any age can become the part of this election.
4. Entrance Test - The institutes may conduct owning exam for the entry or they may provide the direct admission based on merit.
5. The selection process - The preferred candidates may have to go through group discussions and personal options as part of the selection procedure.
6. Fees - Institutes charges are from Rs. 25,000 to Rs.150,000 for the different types of courses offered in institutes. The larger business schools may receive higher price tags as they provide better post graduate employment placements.
1. CAT –Common Admission Test for admission to IIMs, 150 minutes examination divided into three sections of fifty minutes each: Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability
2. XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, 180 minutes ability test for verbal as well as logical and decision making capabilities.
3. NMAT – Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test by GMAC for NMIMS and other institutes 120 minutes with language skills, Quantitative skills, Logical reasoning
4. CMAT – Common Management Admission Test for admission to management institutes all over India, computerised objective test of 3 hours duration with four sections – Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal and Reading Comprehension and General Awareness
5. MAT – Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA with 200 questions on Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Indian and Global Environment
