Bachelor in Film Making, this is an undergraduate degree program that is common in film schools and generally takes three years to complete and usually covers all the aspects of filmmaking. Students are trained in script writing, mounting of cameras, lighting, sound recording, editing the scenes, direction, etc. They are taught the theories behind the practical applications through practical projects. Some of the areas of study include history of film, photography, script writing, film-making, film editing, acting, and even theory.

The time taken to complete a Bachelor of Film Making program is 3 years, based on full time learning. They also may also contain integrated five year program with Master’s for some institutes. All candidates willing to join the film making bachelor’s degree program must produce class 12th level examination or any other equivalent qualification with the minimum passing standard. Some accept national level examinations such as JEE Main, UCEED, NATA while others offer their own entrance exams.

1. For admission in MBA, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream with 50% marks from a recognized board.
