Bachelor of Arts (BA) Anthropology is an undergraduate course and takes three academic years to be completed. It entails the examination of social entities and cultures. Four fields of study with regards to anthropology include sociocultural anthropology, archaeology, biological anthropology and linguistics. These are courses in physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, technique and methods of field work, archeology among others as well as area studies such as religion, family systems, politics, language, art in several civilizations and parts of the world.
The entrance exams accepted for admission to BA in Anthropology are National level exam such as JEE Main, NEE UG State level examination for admission into BA Anthropology are OJEE for Odisha, KEAM for Kerala, CET for Maharashtra, TNEA for Tamil Nadu, TS EAMCET for Telangana and AP EAMCET for Andhra Pradesh.
