BA in Communicative English is an undergraduate program which main aim is to build up a strong base in English language. As a 3-year long course, the syllabi of this program include English literature, linguistics, communication studies, journalism, and mass communication. It consist of essential areas of study comprising of language and phonetics, modern literature, cross cultural communication and the option areas of specialization which contain journalism, mass media, public relations, advertising, technical write.
The acceptable entrance exams for admission into BA (Communicative English) course are: This shall include All India Common Entrance Exam (AICEE), any state and national level exams like SET/SLET, CUET, MET, PET, CUCET or any examination conducted by any university. This is also done by many institutes and universities where they give direct admission to the candidate directly on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the 10+2 board exams.

1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream that is Science, Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks from any recognized.
2. For reserved category students, minimum marks scored in 10+2 examination is forty five percent. admission is not restricted to any age and there are no entrance exams.
3. English should be one of the subjects in level 10 + 2. Minimum 50% in English subject for general category, any other category will have to clear written exam and interview.
