Public Administration is one of the fields of study in an undergraduate program that talks about the policy and management of public services. This 3-year long degree includes subjects such as analysis of public policies, administrative law, public economics, organizational behavior, human resource management, public finance etc. In the curriculum, the university intends to equip students with the practical knowledge in the field of public administration and prepare them to join public administration service.
The entrance examinations that are accepted for the admission purpose include CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, etc. The application and admission procedure’s time limit differ from university to university but the admission process starts in the month of May-June. University entrance exams is normally taken between the months of December and February. The merit lists are announced university wise and generally are released in the months of June and July. Education in New Zealand begins in the month of July-August with the new academic year. Some of the universities also provide direct admission for the students based on marks they secured in their 12th standard. It encompasses the fundamental courses in public administration as well as the inter disciplinary elective course and specialization courses. 1. Minimum education qualification is 10+2 passed in any stream recognized by any state or central board of education with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
2. There is no restriction as to the course of the study of the students, whether arts, science, or commerce.
