The B.Com (Management Studies) is an undergraduate program spread over a duration of three years with specific emphasis on understanding business and management. Widely, the programme offers a student an essential knowledge of management fundamentals such as; accounting, economics, finance, human resources, operations, marketing and strategy. In the course, understanding and application, theoretical and practical aspects of managing a business are taught to the students through case studies, projects, internships and other research works.
The entrance examinations for admission to the premier B.Com colleges in India for management studies include CAT/MAT/NMAT/XAT/ATMA and state level entrance tests. The registration for these management entrance exams is done around August-September every year and the exams are held in the period November –February. Students who wish to appear for the tests can download the application form from the website or obtain hard copy from the admission office, and the forms are available from August to October for the various examinations which are conducted from November to January.

6. Admission will be given on merit basis for the courses mentioned above and for those applicants who are waiting for their 10+2 examination results may also apply for the admission on provisional basis.
1. CAT – Common Admission Test, conducted by the IIMs for the admission in management programmes such as B.Com etc. Includes knowledge of numbers, analytical skills, capacities to interpret figures.
2. CMAT - Common Management Admission Test conducted for admissions to management courses in AICTE affiliated colleges and institutions like B.Com. Tests math and numerical proficiency, critical thinking abilities.
3. Aligarh Muslim University, abbreviated as AMU, has its own test for the admission to B.Com courses. Some of the areas of study within the category are accounting, business economics, mathematics and English.
4. The courses that require BHU – Banaras Hindu University entrance test for B.Com admission. Measures basic skills in numerical ability and mathematical computation, logical and analytical skills and language comprehension.
5. B.Com admission test conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University for enrolling to B.Com courses. It is to check the intelligence, numeral ability, logical and language skills in English and Hindi languages.
