Bachelor of Design in Game Design is an undergraduate course that has a duration of four years and offers training in basic knowledge, principles and theories of game design along with the tools that are used in the profession. Typical subjects taught to students here are game design and development process, game prototyping, user interface and user experience design, 3D modeling and texturing, animation, programming, audio production, quality assurance.
The recognized entrance examinations that one needs to write to be offered a place in the B.Des Game Design program include NID/CEED or other design abilities tests administered by universities/Institute. The candidates with 10+2 /Intermediate pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks can apply. There are also some institutes which have minimum eligibility on the basis of marks scored in class 12th portfolio with carrying sketches/artworks.

1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream: Science, Commerce or Art with not less than 50% mark in the qualifying examination from any recognized board.
2. Qualifying examination like UCEED/NID /CEED or entrance test conducted by the University.
3. For UCEED – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry subjects are compulsory in 10+2 examination.
4. Drawing skills; creativity; problem solving skills; imagination; and ability to tell stories.
5. Although programming knowledge may prove beneficial, it is not a prerequisite in order to use the app.
6. Now, fluency in English, both spoken as well as the written word is assessed during entrance examinations.
