B.Sc. Account and Finance course aims at developing the right foundation among students in the fields of accounting, finance, taxation, auditing and other relevant fields. This course curriculum spreads over three years and consists of basic subjects such as financial accounting, management accounting, corporate finance, banking operations, income tax, business mathematics, statistics. This course is designed to enable one to develop skills and understanding which will enable one to practice accounting, banking, financial services, taxation, corporate finance.
The entrance test that are considered for admission in B.Sc (Account and Finance) among colleges are; CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, XAT among other national or state level entrance tests. Some of the colleges also have the provision of admitting students on the basis of 10 + 2/HSC examination. Further, some institutes set up their level qualifying written tests and personal interview for the selection of the candidates for this program.

1. Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board equivalent to respective combination of subjects.
2. It is mandatory to have Mathematics or Business Mathematics as one of subjects in 10+2.
3. There are some requirements set by some universities such as minimum age of seventeen years or maximum age of twenty-two years.
4. IELTS or TOEFL is often expected from the candidates irrespective of the country they belong to but preferably from an English speaking country.
5. Certain institutes also have personal interview round and the performance in the entrance test is also looked into.
6. Some institutes may have specific preference for work experience in account or finance.
