Biochemistry popularly known as Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biochemistry) is a 3-year undergraduate program which involves the study of chemical changes as well as materials within living organisms. This course in multidisciplinary science entails aspects like molecular and cell biology, chemistry including organic and inorganic, genetics, microbiology, immunology and biotechnology. It is a curriculum that offers theoretical knowledge together with laboratory training to determine the structure and composition of substances in cells, tissues, and organisms.
The common entrance exams accepted for admission into the Bachelors program are: The popular entrance examination includes National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to under graduate and post graduate medical and dental courses, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for admission to undergraduate engineering courses and Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by different colleges and Universities. Some institutes enroll students to B.Sc (Biochemistry) admission process based on merit list based on class 12 results.
