Computer Science Statistics is an undergraduate program that takes 3 years, and it offers students practical knowledge in both computer science and statistics. The curriculum also consists in the classes devoted to programming languages such as C, C++, Java, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, the principles of database management systems, probability, statistical inference, statistical models, various techniques in data mining, data visualization. The students are able to use computation and statistical tools in analysing the big data sets.
Listed below are the entrance exams accepted for admission to the B.Sc Computer Science Statistics program: NEET, JEE Main, CUCET, state level, and any individual national/University level tests. Several institutes take merit list based on candidates’ scores in class 12th board in physics, mathematics and computer science /informatics practices and then the institute gives an opportunity to write a test or appear for interview.
