B.Sc. physical sciences program is an undergraduate programme that takes three years to complete and the coursework entails the study of branches of physical sciences such as physics, chemistry, astronomy, etc. This field of study offers the students an array of knowledge about the laws of nature regulating the physical phenomena in the universe. About 50% of the curriculum focuses on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and there are optional papers for the students based on the college policy in areas such as Astrophysics, Nano materials, Laser technology, Analytical methods etc.
The programs take a duration of 3 years and is split into 6 semesters. This course is available to students who completed their class 12th and have minimum pass percentage of marks from any recognized board. It is also important to note that some of the colleges have their own examinations that students sit for to gain admission into college. The entrance exams accepted are JEE Main, CUET, AP-EAMCET, TS-EAMCET. Apart from the scores, the 12th scores will also be considered while preparing the Merit list.
