The BVSc is an 5 years professional undergraduate degree course that aims to provide knowledge and skills in the health and medical care of animals. The BVSc Animal Genetics & Breeding program addresses specific areas of study such as animal breeding, population genetics, quantitative genetics, animal biotechnology, and advanced genetics particularly dealing with domesticated animals.
