Certificate Course in Banking is a short-term course with a specific focus on banking operation, banking processing and banking services. This course takes the duration of 6 months to 1 year and aims at offering the basic understanding and practical knowledge to the students for working in the banking and financial services industry. The training areas include account management, loans, credit evaluation, risks management, financial legislations, banking software among others. After the training is over, they are issued with certificate from the training institute or the university.
While some institutes have the provision of accepting student for admission on the basis of 12th standard percentage, there are others who may conduct their own selection test comprising of reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, English language etc self financed institutes in collaboration with various banks may take into consideration the applicant’s score in the Common Written Exam.
