Certificate Course in French is a certificate program that is meant to take a short time to ensure that the students have the basic skills of the French language to enable them communicate effectively in the language. The time taken to complete this certificate program also differs from one institute to another, but it may take between 6 months to 1 year, and often, there are mainly 3 to 4 semesters. The content area of the course entails basic French language instruction such as grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation and the fluency needed to hold a basic conversation.
Several other institutes and universities offer the Certificate in French program and in order to get enrolled, they sit for an entrance examination.
