Certificate Course in Physiotherapy is indeed a short term course mainly job oriented and it may take from 6 months to one year approximately. AHS offers education in exercise therapy, electrotherapy, manipulation therapies, and physiotherapeutic processes in order to restore the patient’s health from disease, injury and surgical process. In this level, students are taught on how to assess a patient and administer physical rehabilitation therapy to minimize and prevent pain and loss of motion and strength. 

The minimum requirement for one to be admitted in to do the Certificate in Physiotherapy is to pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects. Certain institutes have no academic requirements that they insist the applicants meet. Getting admission is not necessarily through a single entrance exam, and there is no central exam for it. Institutes also have their own test called the qualifying written test and / or interview for elimination of the candidates

Certificate in Physiotherapy Course Eligibility 2024

1. Science stream completed 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology conducted by any recognized board of education. 

2. Any student in Class 12 can apply provisionally for the admission in the respective courses provided that he/she fulfills the above mentioned conditions.

3. Age restriction: Candidates must not be less than 17 years on 31/12 of the year they intend to join the programme. 

4. Physically healthy to undertake the course.

5. Meritorious selection according to the marks obtained in qualifying examination. 

6. The participants should have adequate English language proficiency to grasp the technical terms used in the study.
