Diploma in Computer Science is one of the undergraduate level programs and which gives the theoretical and practical understanding of the computer science disciplines. The objective of this course is to equip the students with the Technical and programming skills that will enable them get a job immediately after completing the course. Normally, a Diploma in Computer Science course takes a period of 3 years whereby it is programmed in two semesters in a year. Some of the courses offered are Programming Languages (C, C++, Java), Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Networks, Software Engineering , Web Technologies.
Some of the entrance exams accepted for admission in a Diploma in Computer Science course across colleges are: JEE Main organized by National Testing Agency (NTA), state level examinations administered by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), like DEP for Maharashtra, DET Odisha, Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) for BCECEB Bihar, Common Entrance Test (CET) for MP DTE or direct diploma admission on the basis of qualifying marks in class 10th/ 12th.

1. Candidate should have a minimum of 10+2 pass in any stream, Science, Commerce or Arts with 50% of marks in aggregate.
2. It welcome students who have passed their examination from any recognized education board after the 10+2 examination.
3. It is no restriction regarding the age limitation for the students to get admitted to the diploma computer science engineering course.
4. They are eligible to apply for the post on a provisional basis in case they appear for the 10+2 examination.
5. Candidates are admitted directly without writing any entrance examination, only on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
