Diploma in Banking and Insurance is the banking and finance course done after class 12 for getting education and knowledge about the banking, finance, accounting, management as related to Banking and Insurance industry. Diploma in Banking and Insurance course requires one year of full time study however, it can be pursued through part time or distance learning programs as well.
The criteria of entrance for the Diploma in Banking and Insurance course or the eligibility tests accepted are 12th standard pass from any stream from a recognized board. The percentage obtained in class 12th is the most acceptable criterion for joining institutes offering this course to their students. Very limited institutions conduct their own entrance examinations for giving admission while few banking and insurance competitive examinations such as IBPS clerks, RBI assistants and others also work as entrance examinations for admission.

1. A pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board of Education/ Examination.
