Diploma in Indian Numismatics is an UG level diploma course which is completed in 1-year and is specific to Indian coins, currency, medals and artifacts. The sites are information rich and encompass various areas of focus such as the history of coins in India starting from the punch marked coins, Ancient Indian coins, Medieval and Modern coins and Indian paper currency. In this activity, students are able to differentiate between genuine and counterfeit new, old coins and banknotes. 

There are also no formal entrance requirements which the students need to fulfill to gain entry into the Diploma in Indian Numismatics course. The candidates should have passed 10+2 in any stream they are willing to pursue for higher studies. It has been observed that most of the time the admissions are merit based through the assessment of the academic performance of the candidate and his/her interview.

4. It is preferred that the learner has some background knowledge in history and is interested in coins. 

5. Applicant should be fluent in English both oral and written communication skills would be an added advantage.
