Diploma in Media Art is an under diploma level course which may take 1 to 2 years for completion which comprises the various fields of media and designing. These are the areas of conceptualization, story board, 2D & 3D animation, VFX, film editing, audio production & tools of graphics. The curriculum in this field of study is designed to foster both innovation and technical abilities to enhance the students’ abilities to work effectively in the media production industries.
People are often required to sit for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT or school exit examinations as criteria for their admission. Certain institutes might have other tests supplementing the basic entrance tests that evaluate the creativity and technical aspect of the student seeking admission. Selection also involves portfolio as well as experience in areas related to the position for which the candidate is being considered for. 1. A candidate should have passed their 10+2 exam in any stream including Science, Commerce, Arts stream with a minimum of 50% marks as stated by the board.
2. For the candidates who belong to the reserved category, the minimum requisite percentile is 45% in their 10+2 examination.

4. Interest and ability in creative thinking and handling creative domains of the media such as film & animation, photography is highly preferred.
