Diploma in Statistics Management is one year diploma level course in Statistics and data analytics. This course offers orientation on topics such as statistical analysis, data modelling, forecasting, data representation, and software applications in statistics. The course’s objective is to produce skilled graduates with technical knowledge for application of statistical tools in solving real world problems.
The diploma course shall normally take one academic year full-time or its equivalent part-time split into two semesters. It is also possible to find institutes that offer part-time diploma programmes which take 2 years to complete. The tests accepted for admission in the diploma program are the scores obtained in class 12th in subjects like Mathematics/Statistics/Economics for diploma in Statistical Computing and Data Analytics or tests for quantitative ability, reasoning, and language proficiency conducted at the institute level. Some colleges also allow students having work experience in data related jobs to compete for this program.
