Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology is a postgraduate degree that deals with the systematic, objective, and critical investigation of the human behavior and mind. This is a 2-year Master’s program that offers specialized education in psychological assessment, research procedures, measurement, and theories. Through out their program, students are exposed to various areas of emphasis such as social psychological, cognitive, developmental area of emphasis.
The allowed entrance tests for joining MA Psychology programme are UGC-NET, SET, PET, written test conducted by university and interview, or on merit in qualifying examination. Some institutes and universities may also look into the performance of the candidates in BA/BSc Psychology, aptitude tests, research abilities, followed by a personal interview before finally offering admission.
