M.Com (Business Administration) is a two years post graduate master degree program offered in the fields of Business management and administration. The program also offers opportunity to have sound knowledge in the foundational stream of the business like accounting, finance, marketing, human resource management, operation research, business statistics and research method. In this method students acquire conceptual foundations as well as the methodological instruments and tools necessary for managerial decision.
The following are the major national-level entrance examination that are conducted for admission in M.Com (Business Administration):- CAT – Management Admission Test conducted by IIMs XAT- Xavier’s Management Admission Test by XLRI CMAT – The Common Management Admission Test MAT- Management Admission Test ATMA – Association of Indian Management Schools GMAT – Graduate Management Admission Test NMAT – National Management Admission Test IRMA Thus, some colleges and institutes have their own entrance tests also to check the eligibility of the students for admission.

1. Graduation: The applicant should have passed the graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from recognized university.
2. Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply in a provisional basis providing the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria at a later date.
3. Admission for the course is open to any candidate who satisfies the requirements of the admission process regardless of age.
4. The requirements for the entrance examinations depend on the universities and colleges that are offering the courses. Some institutions conduct their own exams while others accept the national level exam results.
5. It is not mandatory, but since work experience will be useful in the future, it can help during the admission process.
6. TOEFL scores are however required in addition to other standard requirements if the applicant has graduated from school in a non-English speaking system.

2. XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted by XLRI and assesses the competencies of the candidates for quantitative skills, decision making abilities, verbal and logical reasoning.
3. CMAT – Common Management Admission Test organized by AICTE, focuses on quantitative skills, logical thinking, language proficiency, and information, awareness.
4. MAT – Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA, assesses language skills, intelligence and analytical ability and mathematical data interpretation abilities.
5. SNAP – Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, which is conducted by SIU, gauges the candidate on quantitative, analytical, and verbal aptitude.

1. Including their academic qualification: The candidate must be a graduate with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.
2. One has to apply online or offline with the documents like the transcripts and the ID proof etc by the given time limit.
3. Take the entrance exam if any or admission based on the merit score obtained.
4. In case of counselling session for document verification and seat allotment, attend to the same.
5. The admission and confirmation fees should be paid so that original documents can be produced.
