The Master of Computer Management (or MCM) is postgraduate program designed to develop and improve one’s skills in management of the organizations computer resources and systems. This course takes 2 years with the following semester breaks: Semester 1, Semester 2, Semester 3, and Semester 4. Some of the topics are computer networking, database management, project management, software engineering, information assurance, web systems and many others.
The standard entrance tests that the candidates can write for admission into the MCM course include CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, and NMAT. Many institutes also offer admission on the basis of marks in qualifying examinations such as those of bachelor’s degree/diploma etc. The cut-offs and acceptance differ from one university to the other as well as from college to college for the MCM program. The candidates are encouraged to enter the job portal and check the eligibility for the position before applying.

1. You must have an active MCSE certification in a track such as cloud platform, data platform, business applications, desktop infrastructure, or enterprise devices and apps.
2. For MCM technology tracks, it is advisable to have 3-5 years experience in designing, deploying, optimizing and managing business critical environments using Microsoft products and technologies.
3. There is also a prerequisite of an eligibility application with a description of your experience, certifications, and benefits of MCM certification, and references from 2-3 individuals.
4. If your eligibility application is approved, then you can register and pay for the specific lab exam at an accredited testing facility that assesses practical competencies.
5. Passing of this qualifying exam allows one to register for the final lab exam that involves intricate enterprise scenarios that require expert level skills to assist senior decision makers.
6. The final lab exam results to the certification of Microsoft Certified Master in the technology track, testing advanced skills to architect and optimize complex environments.
