M.Sc. Biological Sciences is a master’s level program that is mainly designed to provide solid understanding of living organisms and their functions. It comprehensively addresses a range of subjects, including biochemistry, microbiology, ecology, evolutionary biology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology. The length of time it takes to complete the M.Sc. program depends with the specific course or institution of a student’s choice. The duration of Biological Sciences course in India is 2 years including 4 semesters.
The gate admission was only considered from recognized universities and only the following entrance examinations were considered for admission into the M.Sc. The entrance examinations that are conducted for Biological Sciences programs in India include Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM), Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Biotechnology.
