Master of Science (M.Sc) in Human Development is an academic program in the field of psychology that deals with specialized areas of child development, human development, human behavior and other related areas of study. It gives an enhanced level of learning on developmental theories and research methods to study emotions, cognitions, behavioral patterns and personality across the life span from conception to old age.

It is generally observed that the M.Sc Human Development course takes 2 years of full time to complete. Some institutes also provide courses in the form of part time and distance learning which may be of less or more than 2 years. The entrance tests that are considered for admission normally fall under national level tests such as CUCET, TISSNET, CEED or state level tests and tests that are conducted specifically at the institute level.

4. Some institutes may give preference to candidates with work experience in fields related to the stream of engineering.
