M.Phil. in Philosophy is a postgraduate program that focuses on the advanced education of the students in the field of philosophical research and scholarly investigation. The general span of the program is normally expected to take a candidate two years. A degree in philosophy takes 2 years of full-time study in a standard philosophy program. Specializations offered within the curriculum are: metaphysics, ethical, logical, and historical, in addition to methods of research.
Some of the popular entrance examination which are accepted for admission into M.Phil. Philosophy programs are: UG/NET in Philosophy that evaluates the candidate’s research ability and proficiency in the subject. 1. A person must hold a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks in average.
