Post Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship Development (PGDED) is a one-year full time diploma programme designed to equip students with entrepreneurial skills as well as knowledge. Its purpose is to foster an entrepreneurial attitude and provide the knowledge necessary for starting and growing businesses on students’ own. The courses that are taught at PGDED include entrepreneurship foundation, business planning, marketing management, accounting, finance, operation management.
Interested candidates with any degree may apply for the PGDED program. Admission tests accepted are CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or GMAT. Employment experience is also taken into account for admission requirements as well. In addition, many institutions set their own entrance exams, or offer admission based on merit in the qualifying exam. Some of the institutes also provide PGDED course through distance mode to accommodate the working graduates.

1. Pass in any graduate degree from any recognized university along with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate.
2. Final year graduation students can also apply in a provisional capacity depending on the course minimum marks requirement.
3. Regarding the admission criteria, it should be noted that this course is available to anyone regardless of age. There are no restrictions to the number of jobs as to whether it is suitable for fresh graduates, mid-career professionals, or even those seeking for promotions.
4. It’s merit based, that means it admits students based on their marks they got while graduating. There are no specific entrance examinations as a rule.
5. Prior experience in computers and accounting though not necessary is highly desirable.
6. For this practically inclined course, communication skills, and business disposition are an added advantage.
