Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations which is a post graduate level full time diploma course in public relations with communication and media that can be completed in 1 to 2 years. Some of the areas of study in this course may include PR concepts, PR writing, crisis management, event management and social media and digital PR. The curriculum included in this program is designed to provide the candidates with all the knowledge necessary to work in the field of corporate communications, brand management, PR agencies.

As earlier stated, entrance exams accepted for admission into PGDPR differ by institute. There are those which offer opportunities to join their colleges and universities by passing results to the final examination and interview. Some other institutes take the score in any of the managerial aptitude tests like CAT/MAT/XAT, GMAT, GRE, ATMA, CMAT. Some of the colleges have their own written test or they may also consider the performance in the previous academic session, statement of purpose, group discussion and interview.

PG Diploma in Public Relations Course Eligibility 2024

1. Any graduate with a minimum of 50% in aggregate, from a recognized university, in any discipline.

2. The final year graduation students can also apply in a provisional basis depending on the minimum marks requirement. 

3. It does not have any requirement such as age limit or examination in order to be admitted into the school. 

4. It is open to students of all disciplines including arts, science, commerce, engineering etc.  

5. Although not compulsory, some institutes look for work experience in Public Relation or communications when recruiting individuals. 

6. Fluency in English is required in order to read, write and speak effectively because PR positions require communication skills. It is common for candidates to be evaluated on these skills during admission into the academic programs.
