ATMA is a national level entrance test conducted by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission into MBA/PGDM courses in different Business Schools in India. The ATMA is a test for management education, and its inclusion of verbal, quantitative and logical reasoning skills is assessed through a multiple choice pen-paper test format. The test is administered in a computer-based and paper-based format during a year several times.
The total number of questions attempted in the ATMA scorecard is 180 and the scores range from 0 to 500. It is valid for 2 years from the date of the test. The ATMA score enables candidates to get admission into more than 700 B-schools such as XLRI, TAPMI, IMDR, MICA and many other institutes that participate in the test and it checks the candidates on the abilities such as verbal, quantitative, logical and analytical ability needed for management courses. According to the recently available ATMA examination schedule, the ATMA exams for admitting students in the PGDM/MBA batch 2024 are in February, May, June, August and December of the year 2023. The score card obtained for the same is declared within 5 days of the test date of ATMA. An economical fee with the allowance of multiple attempts is a viable feature in ATMA for serious MBA contenders.
