CLAT –PG is the Common Law Admission Test which is a national level examination conducted for the purpose of admitting the students into the Post Graduate Law courses offered in 22 NLUs in India. The exam covers areas of Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contracts & Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Company Law & Corporate Governance, Tax Law, Petroleum & Energy Law, Environmental Law, Labour & Industrial Law etc The CLAT PG is conducted for a duration of two hours and consists of 150 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. The negative marking in the examination is as follows: for every wrong answer, the candidate will lose 0.25 marks. The exam is conducted in pen paper based mode Pen-paper based tests have been the traditional mode of examination for a very long time and still has its own importance and relevance.
The CLAT PG 2024 examination is planned in May 29th, 2024. The outcome for the exam result is expected to be released in the First week of June 2024. This implies that any candidate who has cleared this cut off can sit for the counseling process for the PG law programs in the various National Law Universities.

1. Candidates need to access the official website of CLAT at www.clat.ac.in and then navigate to the CLAT PG registration link.
2. Collect personal information like name, e-mail address, phone number etc to register new account.
3. Login using the details and complete the CLAT PG application form where one need to provide personal information, academic information, and contact information.
4. Scan and upload photograph, signature and documents as per details outlined hereunder.
5. The applicant will also be required to remit the application fee online using credit/debit card, net banking or UPI.
6. Complete the CLAT PG 2024 application and get it reviewed before submission. Some online platforms also provide a download confirmation page for future use.
1. Educational Qualification: To be eligible for the position of a candidate, one has to be a holder of a valid LLB or any other law degree approved by the Bar Council of India. The candidates in their final year of study in a law degree program, for instance, final year LLB students are also allowed to apply.
2. Aggregate Marks: The general candidates can apply without minimum percentage requirements. However, a candidate of SC/ST category has to compulsorily pass with 55% of marks in aggregate in LLB.
3. Age Limit: There are no age limits to apply for CLAT PG exam and every student can give the exam irrespective of his or her age limit.
4. Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens / Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) and Foreign Nationals.
5. Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt the CLAT PG exam any number of times he/she wants to clear in order to get qualified. Re-appear is a possibility several time One might notice that re-appear any number of times.
6. Work Experience: CLAT PG does not require work experience; therefore, candidates can apply for the examination even if they have no jobs. Fresh LLB graduates can also apply directly for the exam The following are the specific procedures and relevant requirements:

1. A. Registration – Visit the CLAT official website at www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in and look for the ‘CLAT PG 2024 Registration’ link. The necessary fields should be filled in order to generate your login information.
2. Sign In – Login to the CLAT PG account by entering the login details.
3. Complete the application form – There is an online form you can fill with personal, academic and other information asked in CLAT PG application form.
4. Upload Documents - Upload scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and if applicable category certificate etc in accordance with given instructions.
5. Apply Online – Upload your scanned photograph and signature, and pay the CLAT PG application fee through net banking, credit card or debit card. The fee for general category is Rs 4,000/- It is to be noted that the fee structure of the college has not been changed for the academic year 2014-15.
6. Review & Submit – This will provide and allow the candidate to cross check the whole CLAT PG application form before the form is submitted. After the materials are submitted, the authors cannot make any changes themselves.
