University Admission Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) is a national entrance test for the admission purpose in postgraduate programs in central universities and other participating institutions. It is a new move which NTA started in 2024, that will give the students a chance to get a fair education platform. CUET is an online computer-base test with objective type questions that demands candidate’s competence in their specialized area of knowledge, general aptitude and language proficiency. The exam pattern consists of two secs: Part A and Part B.
Part A is to check language proficiency, and Part B is about domain/core subjects. i.e., going by the plan, CUET PG is to be held twice every year. As per schedule the first edition of CUET PG 2024 likely to be held in July-August 2024 for the session from next year. The exams under CUET PG 2024 to conduct the exam were in September 2024 and the results then were published within 1 month. Along with its standardized testing approach, CUET PG eliminates the need to take multiple entrance exams and from that, it admits the candidates to its PG programs. Such programs take into account and are based on a unified exam and application process for central universities.
