The GRE, short for Graduate Record Examination, is a test that is taken by students aspiring to join a graduate and business schools. They estimate verbal skills, numerical skills, problem-solving, critical thinking abilities, and analytical skills suitable for masters level programs. It assesses the knowledge in the fields of mathematics, reading, understanding of words, writing analyses and drawing logical conclusions. The GRE is a test which is administered on a computer, and is an offering of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and lasts for a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes.
