The INI CET is conducted every year for the students seeking admission into postgraduate medical courses in INI – Institutes of National Importance and is conducted by the AIIMS New Delhi. The exam is even more competitive than the JEE with over 80,000 students sitting for it each year. INI CET assesses candidates in subjects that are related to anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, general medicine for postgraduate medical studies.
In order to secure more than 1200 MD/MS/MCh/DM seats across from more than 15 INIs like AIIMS, Delhi, JIPMER Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, etc., the INI CET 2023 examination will be held on 8th May 2023 and the results are likely to be announced in the third week of May 2023. The designated students will be required to attend online counselling sessions in July 2023 to be assigned to the available seats.

1. Registration & Application Form
- AIT, usually in the Jan/Feb, 2024, registration will be opened at the official link of AIIMS for the entrance exam.
- Make an account and try to register yourself with your personal details which will be asked to fill up.
- Then again, log in and start filling the INI CET application form as much as possible carefully.
2. Uploading Documents
- Scan and upload documents like Passport size photo, Signature, marksheets of class 10 & 12 ..etc as per the guidelines mentioned.
3. Application Fee Payment
- Complete the application process online through the Internet using net banking or debit card/ credit card etc. At present application fee of June 2011 exam is Rs.1500/- for general category.
4. Print Confirmation Page
- At the end of the application process, a final confirmation page will appear and once the application is successfully submitted, save and print the final confirmation page.
5. Exam City Choice
- Log in once more to select three desired cities for the test when this feature will be available. Since it is done on the Firs come first serve basis the selection for the events is done in this way.
- 10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate are the documents that will be needed from the candidate.
- They need original documents that include their 12th standard mark sheet and passing certificate.

- This is only applicable for the reservation quota if there is any Certificate for the certain category.
- PwD certificate (This certificate is required only for applying under persons with disability quota)
- Address proof
- To prove that I have paid the application fees, I have attached a payment proof/receipt.
