The IPMAT stands for Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance examination that is conducted by IIM Indore in order to obtain admissions in the 5-years Integrated Programme in Management. The IPM programme enables the students to complete the B.A / B.Sc. along with MBA in 5 years right after 12th standard. The IPMAT is meant for searching talented students who have managerial and leadership qualities for this integrated course.
The IPMAT exam comprises of verbal ability, quantitative ability, reading comprehendions and logical reasoning. There are 100 questions that have to be solved in 2 academic hours. The exam can only be taken online but the process is closely monitored to check and curb cases of cheating. IPMAT is conducted in the second week of July in every year and the result of the examination is also declared on or before the same date. Candidates who are shortlisted will have to face a WAT (Written Ability Test) & PI (Personal Interview) conducted by IIM Indore to be able to get the final admission.

1. Registration: You can register for IPMAT by visiting the official website of IIM Indore through the link www.iimidr.ac.in and then go to the IPMAT registration link. Register for an account with the website by entering a valid Email address, phone number and other necessary information.
2. Fill Application Form: Use your login details for the IPMAT and complete the online application form diligently. It is important to provide correct academic information, additional personal information, and contact information.
3. Upload Documents: You need to upload the scanned copies of photograph, your signature, class 10th and 12th marks statements, graduation marks statement (if any), caste certificate (if any) etc.
4. Pay Application Fee: Application fee can be paid online through credit card/debit card/net banking/Unified Payment Interface. The fee general category is 2100 rupees. The expenditure is one thousand and fifty rupees for NC-OBC-NCL and for transgender candidates only.
5. Submit Form: When it comes to the submission of your IPMAT 2024 application form, do well to check and review them before submission. Make corrections if any. Click on the ‘I agree’ checkbox and then complete the form.
6. Download Confirmation: From the application, save a soft copy or take a print of the confirmation page which will include your application number.
1. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates: Therefore, the documents which are needed are the scanned copies of the 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and passing certificates.
2. Graduation degree certificate (if applicable): For graduate, the documents required are the original certificate of the bachelor’s degree or a provisional certificate.
3. Valid Photo ID proof: It is very important to submit ID proof like PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License etc.
4. Scanned photograph and signature: The recent passport sized color photograph as well as the scanned signature in accordance with the requirements provided by the conducting body are mandatory.
5. Caste certificate (if applicable): You have to upload your SC/ST/OBCNCL certificate for getting the required privilege of the category.
