Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Examination known as JCECE is an examination held every year for admission to B.Tech/B.The exam is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board of Jharkhand.Many students are now getting their undergraduate degree like B.E., B.Pharma and other degree courses in various colleges and institutions of Jharkhand. The exam comprises of two papers: Paper 1 being for admission into engineering courses such as B.Tech/B.While E is for applying to professional courses like engineering, agriculture, and technology, Paper 2 is for admission into pharmacy programs such as B.Pharma. To summarize, the syllabus mostly comprises of physics, chemistry and mathematics subject up to twelfth level. Every year thousands of students sit for the JCECE examination with the intention of getting admissions in this University because there are very few seats available. The exam is conducted in the offline process at various examination centers in Jharkhand. 

Based on the past annual calendar, the JCECE 2024 test may be conducted in April 2024. As of the information given above, the JCECE result is likely to be released in the last week of May 2024 on the official website of JCECEB – jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The shortlisted candidates are supposed to go through the counseling session in order to be allotted the respective seats and to get admissions in the desired programs / institutes. Therefore JCECE is one of the most prominent engineering entrance exams in Jharkhand through which state quota B.Tech seats are available through competitive examination.

How to Apply for JCECE Exam 2024?

1. Applicants may download official notification and application form from the official website www.jcece.nic.in through clicking on the apply link. 

2. Register yourself by creating a login ID and password also enter basic information in a form.

3. Scanned image of photograph is to be uploaded and the scanned image of signature should be as per specifications

4. I will fill academic details and complete the payment process for the application fee online.

5. Choose the type of exam papers and the preferred exam locations 

6. All specifications should be reviewed properly before the form is submitted at last.

7. Save the confirmation page in your device and also ensure you have a printed copy with you.

JCECE Exam Application Process 2024

1. Registration - Visit JCECEB official website through official link and here click on registration link. Please provide your name, your date of birth, your email id, your contact number etc for creating your account login.

2. Application Form – To fill the JCECE application form first log in by providing the credentials. When it comes to the information related to person, academic, communication, etc., the entries should be filled in a very careful and cautious manner.

3. Photograph and Signature – Scan and upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format along with the caste certificate if applicable, the category certificate if applicable and other documents prescribed.

4. Application Fee Payment – Submit the application fees through Credit/debit card, net banking or U.P.I. The General category carries on a fee of Rs 700 and for the SC/ST category candidates, the fee required is Rs 350. Keep a copy of the receipt that shows that you made the payment.

5. Print Application – This option allows you to preview the JCECE 2024 application form, and then, you can print the final copy. It is required to attach the same photo that is taken with the size of the passport on it as the one you uploaded. 

6. Exam Centre Preference - To choose the preferred exam centres for JCECE 2024 exam in the order of preference, candidate needs to log into the portal again. 

7. Admit Card – After the announcement of the JCECE your admit card for the exam should be downloaded. Take this along with any photo ID proof to the examination centre.
