MAT is a national level entrance test conducted for over 600 institutes of B- Schools by All India Management Association (AIMA) throughout India. Two tests are conducted every quarter of the year - February, May, September and December, respectively. Because there is an opportunity to retake the exam multiple times per year, it is possible for the candidates to work improve their scores. The test method involves 200 multiple choice questions that are divided among 5 parts: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skill, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment. Candidates are supposed to solve the paper using the time allotted i.e 150 minutes.
MAT assess the skills of candidates in order to determine whether they are suitable to follow courses on MBA or PGDM management. The MAT test score is usually sent to students in 15 days after the test date. Candidates clearing the minimum cut off MAT score also get calls from institutes in respect to admission to their respective college/university. Due to the fact that the MAT schedule is not publicized yet, but probably to go over the same period of time in February, May, September, and December months next year. Getting the minimum required marks in MAT will allow to access to the best business schools accepting students via MAT scores including IIMs, TAPMI, SRM, and Christ University, and many other top B-schools in India.

1. Register here - Go to the official website of AIMA (All India Management Association) and click on the MAT registration link To enable you, account formation will be required.
2. Application Form - Sign in to your account then submit the College Board's Materials Assessments (MAT) form accurately. You should include personal data like name and address, academic qualifications irrelevant, preferred test center among others.
3. Document Uploading - Upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and the validated identity proof according to the provided instructions.
4. Fees Payment - Make the MAT registration payment online through using UPI, net banking, credit card or debit card. The fee quantity is different in various categories.
5. The Print Application - Make sure to review all the data filled in the MAT form, and submit it. Submit the application form in printed form.
6. Admit Card - Get your MAT admit card after the commencement of downloading from the website one day or a few hours before the exams. At the test site, have a printed version with you.
7. Examination Dates: The MAT exam is held at four different points of the year - February, May, September, and December. To ensure you have adequate time to prepare, register ahead of time for your desired test schedule.
8. Exam Center - Go to your designated test center per the information given on your MAT 2020 admit card to take the MAT 2021 exam. Carry the required documents.
1. Photo ID Proof: You should have the photo ID with you and that can be an Aadhaar Card, driving license, PAN card, passport, etc. to confirm your identity.
2. High School/Class 12 Marksheet and Certificates: You'll have to scan and submit your 10th and 12th marks sheet along with their passing certificate. This is done to confirm you are eligible and to also attest to your academic information.
3. Graduation Degree Certificate and Marksheets (for applicants who have completed graduation): If you have already completed your graduation, the admission commission requires you to provide scans of your degree certificate and all the marksheets from every year (or semester).
4. Caste Certificate (if applying under reserved category): Attached only the validated caste certificate of the SC/ST/OBC/Other categories issued by the competent authority.
5. PWD Certificate (for Persons with Disability): Disability certification issued by a qualified medical board is a must for PWD contestants in order to take advantages of the category.
6. Scribe Form (if requiring a writer): Disabled and candidates affected by Covid can applied for writer/scribe and provide the scribe form and scribe form in extra.
7. Photograph and Signature: The requirements also include you to provide a photograph that has been scanned in a passport style that should also be accompanied with a scanned signature of yours in the specified format/dimensions.
