Bihar STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) as its name indicates it is the test for the state Bihar, which is conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) in order to set the eligibility criteria for the candidates to become a teacher in the government school in Bihar. This is one of the eligibility criteria that are applied to teachers in the process of teacher hiring in Bihar. STET examination is done for teachers of classes 1-5, classes 6-8 and secondary/senior secondary classes. They must pass the examination in order to qualify for teaching positions that come up in their respective category. 

The Bihar STET Admit Card 2024 will be available in few weeks before the examination on the official website of BSEB. Earlier the candidates had to register through their email id and mobile number to download the admit card, but for the current examination the candidates have to login using their application number and date of birth. The admit card is a document which is required to be brought to the examination center as a form of identification to be allowed into the examination hall. In addition to the admit card, the candidates are required to bring one original identity proof with photo, Aadhaar card/PAN card/Driving Licence/Passport and a photocopy of the STET application form filled by them for the specific examination.

Documents Required For Bihar STET Exam 2024

1. Admit Card: It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring a printed copy of the admit card along with them in order to get permission to enter the exam hall. 

2. Valid Photo ID Proof: Some of the acceptable proofs of identity include aadhar card, voter ID card, driver’s license, pan card, etc. A colored self attested photocopy of the candidate’s passport size photo along with the admit card is required.

3. Color Photograph: The admit card has space for the candidates to paste a color passport size photograph. The main requirement is that the background should be of light color in the particular photo. 

4. PwD Certificate: Candidates who wish to apply under this PwD category are required to present a legitimate disability certificate from a proper authority to avail benefits related to it. 

5. Blue or Black Pen: Candidates should possess a good quality blue or black pen to make their responses against the questions mentioned on the OMR sheet. Only blue pen/pencil is permissible.

6. Mask and sanitizer: It is also important to note that there is always a necessity to wear a mask and also have a hand sanitizer because of COVID 19 protocols in the country.

1. The Roll number as per the application form filled up by the candidate for appearing the examination. This is a critical and compulsory requirement during the exam that serves as an identification card. 

2. Candidate identification number: This is an identification number that is unique to every candidate who applies for admission with the institution. This is very important to double-check before the exam.

3. Name of the examination with its year of holding- Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET). It is important to do whatever is required to ensure that you have the correct admit card.
