MPU provides MTech programs in computer science, information technology, electronics & communication engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering. The admission process for the prospective MTech 2024 batch involves both, national and university level tests.
Minimum eligibility criteria include a completed BTech/BE degree along with the candidate’s marks sheet showing an aggregate of 60% or higher from a recognized university. The national-level process involves candidates to write GATE and also submit GATE score cards during the application process. For the university level examination, MPU holds it’s an entrance exam in different cities across the country. Candidates who make the final list then sit for a technical interview session to determine their suitability in the required competencies.
The final offers are made on merit basis, where factors such as GATE/Entrance test percentile, performance in under graduate studies, experience and group discussion & interview are taken into consideration.

1. To apply for the MTech program, go to Mind Power University website and look for the admission link on the official website.
2. Register on the site and provide your basic information, previous academic performance, entrance tests and others in the registration form.
3. As per the instructions candidates must upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as degree certificates, mark sheets, government ID proof.
4. The application fee should be paid online using credit/debit cards, net banking or through the UPI method.
5. Finally, ensure that you fill the application form correctly and submit it before the highlighted due date from the admission notification.
6. Please visit the registered e-mail and SMS frequently for receiving the new update on the entrance exam date for the university (if applicable) and selection process.
7. When offered, have to accept the offer by providing the necessary documents; original and paying for the admission fees within the set timelines.
1. In addition, the candidate must hold a BTech/BE degree in any branch of engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
2. Final year students are also eligible to apply but on condition that they produce a pass certificate of the examination with the minimum required passes.
3. This is a program that has no age limits meaning that anyone is allowed to take it. It is open for new graduates who just completed their studies and job seekers with working experience.
4. There is a requirement in terms of GATE scores and the candidates should have passed this test to qualify for the position.
5. Candidates must have Maths as one of their subjects in the prior bachelor’s degree obtained. Prior programming knowledge is also required, but it can be quite basic.
6. The screening criteria will involve previous academic achievements, entrance test results, the statement of purpose, letters of recommendation and personal interviews that will be conducted by the university.
