Al-Falah University is a private university established in Faridabad, Haryana. Founded in the year 1997 and has expanded its wings to become one of the reputed institutions in the area of academics. It is a State Private University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by the Government of Haryana. It has been accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). As per the released NIRF rankings 2023, Al-Falah University has secured the 65th position among universities across India.
Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in different fields are taught at the university under faculties of engineering and technology, management, sciences, education, liberal arts, law and legal studies. Some of the courses offered by Al-Falah are B.Tech, BCA, BBA, BA, MA, MBA, MCA, etc. Semester exams for these programs are planned for November 2023 and May 2024 as well. For the academic year 2024, the admission process will start from May 2023. Most of the students are selected through national level examinations like JEE Main, CAT/MAT, CUET etc. There is also what is referred to as the 12th standard pass direct admission scheme which applies in certain programs.

Al-Falah university Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Candidates must have passed their higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination with the minimum percentage as prescribed for the particular program. Normally, an average of 50% or more in the relevant subjects is considered preferable for this course.
2. For the undergraduate programs, candidates with pass in the Grade 12 or any equivalent qualification can apply. Certain courses may be compulsory based on the program of choice.
3. For postgraduate program such as MBA, the candidates should possess relevant bachelor degree and must have scored the minimum percentage as per the requirement of the university. Work experience may also be required.
4. In addition to the above documents, international students are required to submit transcripts and certificates from the recognized institutes, and English test scores, preferably IELTS/TOEFL.
5. Fully filled application forms, documents, and application fees have to be sent to the university before the intake/semester of the respective course.
6. Some of the programs may require the candidates to sit for an entrance test or interview before admission depending on the set standards. This means that whoever is selected has the right qualities that the organization wants for a particular position.

The university of Al-Falah has a functional placement cell that ensures its students get placed in the job markets. Some of the leading industries that offer placements to students passing out from Al-Falah include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. In the 2021-22 placements TCS offered the highest salary package of 16 LPA and the average salary offered across branches was 5 LPA. In the previous years, the overall placement ratio was below 80% however last year it has shown an improvement. Computer Science and Information Technology students observe the highest placements with an average salary range of 6-7 Lakhs per Annum.
