AIIMS Raipur is one of the latest units of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences that came into existence in the year 2012 as an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It has approval from the various regulatory authorities, including UGC, MCI, DCI, RCI, INC, CCH, Ayush, PCI. AIIMS Raipur has also been accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and attained the rank 65 in the NIRF Medical Rankings 2023.
The institute has different courses of medical education for the undergraduate and post-graduate levels including MBBS, BSc nursing, MD/MS, DM/MCh, BDS, MDS. The admission to the MBBS course is based on NEET examination and counseling. For other programs, the candidates are required to write institute level exams for getting selected in the particular programme. The application process begins in the month of December in the year 2023 for the academic year 2024. They are as per the government polices of reservation or according to the cast of the candidate.

AIIMS Raipur Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Age criterion is 30 years for general candidates, 35 years for OBC candidates and 40 years for SC/ST candidates as on the closing date for applying for the post.
2. Candidates must have MBBS or equivalent degree from a University recognized by Medical Council of India for General/OBC category with minimum 55% marks whereas for SC/ST/PH candidates it is 50%.
3. It requires that candidates should be possessed of a certificate in rotation internship which must be one year in duration.
4. The applicants must be possessing permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MCI/State Medical Council.
5. OBC/SC/ST candidates must complete the relevant certificate from the competent authority as a proof of their caste.
6. PWD candidates should have the original Disability Certificate issued by the authorized Disability Board only. Permanent physical disability should not amount to more than forty percent of the individual’s total disability.
