All India Institute of Medical Sciences which have been established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is a fully fledged central university of India that was established in 2012 under an Act of Parliament. The college is affiliated to the Medical Council of India (MCI) for medical and Dental council of India (DCI) for dental courses. NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) has graded this institution ‘A’ with a CGPA of 3.23 on a scale of 4. The NIRF Rankings 2023 were recently announced and according to the ranking data, AIIMS Rajasthan has secured the 28th position under the Medical Colleges category.
The institute also provides various medical sciences programs in its undergraduate and postgraduate departments. The major courses taught are MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MDS and MCh in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community & Family Medicine, General Medicine, General surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Radio diagnosis, Psychiatry and super specialties. NEET-UG is that the official entrance test for MBBS admission, organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

AIIMS Rajasthan Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination or any other examination in equivalent to it with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
2. Passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) this is the exam that one has to write for admission into the MBBS/BDS course in India.
3. The candidates who are NRI, OCIs and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply Only on the condition mentioned in the regulations.
4. The candidate has to meet some prerequisite requirements about domicile of the candidate or any other rule applicable to a particular state if the candidate is seeking admission under state quota seats.
5. In the case of reserved category seats, the candidate has to attach valid certificate proving his / her belonging to the above said reserved category.
