Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is University with multiple campuses and interdisciplinary research that has been accredited ‘A’ by NAAC and ranked 20th in universities category by NIRF Rankings 2023. It was established in 1994 and it has five centers in India one of them being the 250 acres facility in Tamil Nadu Coimbatore. It provides more than 150 courses across universities and levels- UG, PG and doctoral level in various fields such as engineering, management, health sciences, pharmacy, arts, and science Amrita Coimbatore is equipped with modern infrastructure and research amenities.
Amrita Coimbatore now offers its 2024 batch admissions with the next round of entrance exams to be conducted in May 2023. The prospective candidates can get themselves enrolled in various streams of BTech such as Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering etc offered by the Amrita University by writing Amrita Entrance Examination (AEEE). BBA, MBA and MCA programs are offered through entrance exam common for the county, CAT, MAT and Amrita Entrance Examination respectively. The undergraduate and postgraduate programs in medicine, nursing, pharmacy and other allied health sciences offer admissions based on the NEET. Amrita also provides admission to the BA, MA or integrated degree in subjects such as English, Economics, Psychology, Performing Arts BA through merit or entrance examination.
