AKTU or the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University was created by the government of India to be a state university in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. AKTU was established in 2000 and is currently oriented towards offering good technical and management education. AKTU has got Grade A from NAAC and ARIIA as well as is ranked as 75 by NIRF Ranking 2024 among colleges for engineering.
The examinations for even semester are normally written in December while those for odd ones are held in May of that year. The application process for students who would wish to seek admission in the 2024 class will begin in May 2024. The admissions are made on the state level and national level exams such as UPSEE and JEE-Main or with direct admission through the 10+2 results. After result announcement special counselling sessions will be arranged where through the rank of candidates and available seats they can choose the college and course of their choice.
