Ashoka University situated in Sonepat, Haryana was instituted to provide undergraduate programmes in sciences, social sciences and humanities. Some of the major departments are: Economics, history, Mathematics, Physics, computer sciences, Psychology. The minimum eligibility criteria are different for departments - to apply for Economics or History, the applicant must have 50% in 12th standard from any stream, while for Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science the applicant must have 60% marks in Science stream in 12th standard. Ashoka honor national level examinations such as JEE Mains, CBSE, ISC in sciences; SAT, ACT tests in humanities and social sciences.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photocopy of the Aadhaar card/passport or any other government issued identity cards to make sure that the candidate’s identification matches with the details filled.
2. Passing certificate of 10th standard with marks sheet mentioning the date of birth and the course passed to ensure the eligibility on educational front is fulfilled.
3. For their academic eligibility for admission the following documents are required: mark sheet and passing certificate of 12th standard.
4. Pass certificates from school that have records of previous and current academic performance call migration certificates.
5. Standardized test scores such as the SAT, Ashoka aptitude test scores, which contribute to admission decisions.
6. To determine the interests and achievements in the student, extracurricular certificates in academics, sports, Arts.
1. About the eligibility criteria – A candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with science stream or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University with not less than 60% marks.
2. Express their interest on the university website by completing an application form and providing certificates and other relevant documents. Pay the application fee.
3. Selected candidates should appear for the Ashoka Aptitude Test. This one challenges problem-solving skills, specifically analysis and computation.
4. If you are qualified in the admission test, they will invite you to attend the interview round. Interview assesses your personality.
5. In this process, check the admission offer listing your program and its status once the process is over.
6. Thus the acceptance of the offer is by paying the admission fee. Finished with the processing of documents and other requirements that needed to be submitted for enrollment.
7. Start the program at the beginning of the university’s semester and begin with the preliminary courses.
